As Canadians we talk about the weather relentlessly, I just talk about it a little more! I hope to provide useful information to my family, friends and all those who simply enjoy talking about the weather. While I try to include information of interest from all over North America, my primary region of concern is the St. Lawrence Valley of Quebec, Ontario, and New York, as well as our neighbouring regions. This Blog is dedicated to my late father for inspiring my interest in weather.

Weekend Update
A very simple forecast for Montreal, Ottawa, Plattsburgh and the region, sunny and mild. Temperatures will reach 6C (43F) on both Saturday and Sunday with abundant sunshine. It would be even warmer, but I believe the snow cover and north wind will keep our temperatures in check. A weak storm system will slide across the Great Lakes on Monday with flurries or showers followed by sunny and dry weather for the balance of the week. Another larger storm may affect the region by next weekend, but early indications are that is will follow the similar path of the winter and pass south of New England and miss Montreal.
